Residential Extension Planning Permit Drawings
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need a full set of architectural drawings to accompany a planning-permit application for a residential extension. The existing house will remain as is; the work focuses purely on the new extension, so every sheet must clearly distinguish between existing and proposed conditions for the council’s review.
The package should include—at minimum—site plan, floor plans, roof plan, key sections, elevations, basic shadow diagrams and a schedule of finishes, prepared to the scale and drafting standards normally required by Australian planning authorities. I’ll supply the current survey and any photographs you need as soon as we get started.
Drawings must be produced in CAD (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD or similar) and delivered in both PDF for submission and the native file format for future edits. Accuracy to millimetres, consistent line weights and clear annotation are essential; the council can be strict, so I’m counting on your eye for compliance with setback, height and site-coverage rules.
Once you’ve returned the first draft, I’ll mark up any council or personal comments, and we’ll iterate until the drawings are ready to lodge. If you have experience dealing with residential extensions and can turn revisions around quickly, let’s talk timelines and get things underway.
