Residential Extension Architectural Plans
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I need detailed architectural plans for a residential extension that will add a new garage, a pool area, and a small workshop to my existing home. The drawings must show how these three elements tie into the current structure, respect local zoning setbacks, and integrate services such as drainage, power, and ventilation.
I will supply the original house drawings in PDF and DWG. From you I expect updated site plans, floor plans, elevations, and a concise set of construction notes that a local builder and engineer can follow and obviously are suitable to apply for local Council approval or under CDC. Please include dimensions, materials, and any structural information you typically coordinate at this stage.
Everything should comply with standard residential codes in my region (I’ll provide the specifics once we start). If you normally use Revit, AutoCAD, or Archicad, let me know; I prefer a native file plus print-ready PDFs as the final hand-off.
TI would like the project completed in 4 weeks, but I would like a first draft within two weeks so we have room for feedback before finalising.
