Residential Architectural CAD Drafter

I need an experienced CAD drafter who already understands how residential construction is documented in the United States—title blocks, standard sheet sizes, typical wall assemblies, and the way local codes influence plan notation. The workload is strictly architectural: translating my sketches, mark-ups, and PDF redlines into clean, editable DWG files that will pass permitting review here in the U.S.

You will receive dimensioned hand sketches or old plans; in return I expect:

• Fully layered AutoCAD files (2018-compatible)
• A plotted PDF set that includes floor plans, elevations, roof plan, and basic sections/details suitable for a single-family submittal

All line weights, text styles, and view naming should follow common U.S. conventions so that the plans drop straight into our office template without rework. If you are comfortable with occasional Revit coordination, let me know—that could be a plus, though AutoCAD is the day-to-day tool.

Turnaround is typically five business days per set, with quicker revisions when the city comments come back. Steady flow for the right drafter.
