Redesign Education Building for Staff Housing
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have an existing education building that I want to repurpose into modern staff housing. The goal is to create more than 40 comfortable units and suites while incorporating three shared amenities—a full-service communal kitchen, dedicated laundry facilities, and a compact yet well-equipped fitness center.
What I need from you is a complete architectural redesign package that shows how the current classrooms, corridors, and service areas can be re-planned into self-contained rooms with ensuite baths, efficient circulation, and code-compliant fire exits. Concept sketches are useful for early discussions, but I will ultimately require scaled floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, basic MEP coordination notes, and exterior elevation studies that demonstrate any façade adjustments triggered by the new layout.
The building currently meets educational codes, so part of the brief involves identifying where residential standards (e.g., ventilation rates, acoustic separation, sprinklers) differ and detailing the upgrades. If you regularly work in Revit, AutoCAD, or Archicad, please let me know—any of those file formats will integrate smoothly with our internal facility team.
Attached are the existing drawings. Ideally, I would like to review a draft concept within 3 days and wrap up final drawings (2D & 3D floor plan)—including revisions—in roughly 2 weeks.
