Private Jet Runway Design

Job ID: 40531322

Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR

I’m planning a new runway dedicated to private-jet traffic and need a seasoned airport architect to turn the concept into a build-ready design. The strip must fully support light-to-medium business aircraft, meet ICAO/FAA guidelines, and integrate three critical systems from the outset: high-intensity lighting (edge, threshold and approach), permanent runway markings for both day and night operations, and a robust surface- and subsurface-drainage scheme that keeps the pavement clear in heavy rain.

I’m still open on the pavement choice—whether asphalt, concrete or a tailored hybrid—so part of the assignment is to study local soil, climate and traffic forecasts, then recommend the optimal surface and pavement profile.

Key deliverables I’ll be reviewing:

• Site layout and geometric design (AutoCAD/Civil 3D files + PDFs)
• Pavement and subgrade recommendation report with calculations and material specs
• Lighting, marking and drainage plans, coordinated so there’s no clash during construction
• Compliance matrix showing how the design meets all relevant standards for private-jet runways
• Bill of quantities and a phased construction schedule ready for tendering

I expect clear progress milestones, regular design reviews via video call, and native files handed over at each stage. If you’ve successfully designed similar GA or executive-jet runways and can navigate everything from strip grading to photometric lighting calculations, let’s talk timelines.
