NBC-Compliant Underground Parking Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am completing the design of an underground car park for a new commercial development in India and need a fully optimised layout drawn in AutoCAD, ready for “Released for Construction” (RFC) issue.
The objectives are clear:
• Maximise parking capacity within the footprint.
• Maintain smooth, conflict-free traffic flow.
• Provide intuitive, well-aligned entry and exit ramps that connect naturally to the site’s main circulation roads.
Every dimension, turning radius, bay size, aisle width, headroom and ramp gradient must satisfy the current National Building Code (India). Please weave those parameters into the drawing so the contractor can start setting out without additional tweaks.
Deliverables
• Complete AutoCAD (.dwg) file(s) for each underground level, with clean layer management and a printable RFC sheet set.
• Ramp sections and any enlarged details needed to illustrate slopes, landings, and transition curves.
• Tabulated bay count plus key NBC compliance notes on the drawing itself.
If you have experience squeezing extra bays out of tight basements while keeping circulation intuitive, I’d like to see a brief sample or reference project when you respond.
