Modular Autonomous Store Architectural Design

Job ID: 40484848

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m ready to move from concept to construction on a fully-autonomous retail store and I need a licensed architect to take the lead. The building will be a factory-manufactured, modular structure, so every drawing must align with off-site fabrication methods and the tighter tolerances that come with them.

Aesthetic and spatial intent
The look is modern and minimalist—clean lines, an uncluttered ceiling plane, and a restrained palette. Inside, the plan revolves around two core zones: an open customer shopping area and a bank of self-checkout kiosks that integrate seamlessly with the traffic flow. Storage is handled off-site, so you can dedicate the footprint to an inviting, tech-forward retail experience.

What I need from you
• Code-compliant schematic and permit-ready architectural drawings tailored to modular construction
• Coordination notes for MEP and low-voltage systems that support autonomous operations (scanners, sensors, security, etc.)
• Material and finish schedule reflecting factory-friendly components—think pre-finished panels, structural steel frames, and large glass inserts
• High-quality exterior and interior renderings that capture the minimalist aesthetic
• A brief spec outlining how modules connect, ship, and install on site

If you’re licensed, comfortable designing for fabrication, and excited about shaping next-gen retail, I’d like to hear how you would approach the project and your typical timeline to deliver the above.
