Michigan Barndominium Stamped Drawings

Job ID: 40329870

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m ready to move a post-frame barndominium from concept to construction and need a Michigan-licensed architect to create a full permit set, complete with your professional stamp. The goal is a code-compliant, construction-ready package that a local building department will approve without revisions.

Where the project stands
• Floor plan: I’ve sketched room sizes, and exterior elevations, but nothing is set in stone. You will translate those ideas into a formal layout. It will be a 52x108 structure, with roughly half garage/shop and half living quarters.

Key expectations
• Conform to Michigan Residential Code and post-frame best practices.
• Provide stamped PDFs (and DWG files) that include at minimum: architectural sheets, structural framing details, foundation and slab design, roof and wall sections, door/window schedules, and a site plan keyed to setbacks and utilities.
• Coordinate secondary disciplines (MEP) only as notes and chases; full MEP design is not required.
• Respond to municipal plan-check comments until the permit is issued.

Deliverables
1. Preliminary layout for my review and red-line.
2. 100% construction document set with your Michigan architectural seal.
3. Final revisions after municipality feedback, returned as a revision clouded set.

If you’ve stamped barndominiums or post-frame structures in Michigan before, that’s a big plus—please mention the county or township. Let’s get this design approved and under construction.
