Maryland Architect Stamp Basement Drawings
Budget: $2,500 – $3,500 USD
I already hold a full PDF plan set for a ±690 sq ft basement finish in Derwood, Montgomery County. The layout—bathroom, gym, office, closets, and recreation area—is fixed, and an exterior egress door is in place. What is still missing is a Maryland-licensed architect’s touch: refinement of the MEP integration so the package meets 2021 IRC/IBC plus Montgomery County amendments, and your professional seal for DPS submission.
Key tasks
• Review the current Architectural + MEP sheets, focusing on code-compliant mechanical, electrical, and plumbing adjustments.
• Keep the bathroom in a standard layout; no luxury re-work is required.
• Coordinate any required notes, schedules, or minor dimension tweaks that DPS typically flags.
• Provide final, signed and sealed drawings in both PDF and DWG.
Acceptance criteria
– DPS will accept the stamped set without comments on code compliance.
– All files arrive no later than March 2026, ready for direct upload to eServices.
Revit, AutoCAD, or similar BIM/CAD tools are welcome as long as the DWG output is clean. Let me know your availability for an initial hand-off call and any questions about the existing plan set.
Payment Milestones:
10% at contract signing
40% after submission to DPS
50% upon approval & permit issuance
