I have a modern single-family home and I’m ready to remodel the second floor. The project has two clear goals:
1. Redesign the roof so the entire upper level transitions to a low-slope pitch. This means revising the framing, elevations, and any structural details affected by the change.
2. Relocate one existing bathroom to a new position on the same floor. The new layout must tie smoothly into the updated roof line and show revised plumbing runs, vent stacks, and fixture placements. Reframing two bedrooms to the current area as well.
What I need from you is a complete, permit-ready set of architectural blueprints that cover:
• Updated floor plans, roof plan, and elevations reflecting the low-slope design
• Structural details or notes where the change in pitch impacts load paths
• New bathroom location with plumbing, vent, and drain schematics
• Sections and call-outs that make the revisions crystal-clear to my builder and the local permitting office
• Final files in CAD (DWG) plus clean, printable PDFs
