Licensed Architect for Flood and Tornado-Proof Home Design
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I need an experienced Licensed Architect to design my custom home on an elevated foundation, primarily for flood prevention and F3 Tornado proof.
Key Requirements to contact me:
1. Current Active Architect License, not AC Technician or TOW Truck Operator license.
2. You should be in Houston to meet in person and sign legally binding contract in front of Notary.
3. Do you have practical experience with Helical Piers?
4. Do you have practical experience of ICF (specifically Quad Lock ICF)?
There are bunch of people on this website who already FAILED to meet Key requirements.
I was already ripped off by $3,500 by those failed architects.
Home design significant features: Elevated foundation design - Use of steel supports - Modern, traditional, or colonial architectural styles Ideal Skills: - Expertise in flood-resistant architecture - Proficiency with steel support structures - Strong design portfolio in preferred architectural styles. Looking for innovative solutions to ensure safety and aesthetics.
My home Shell will be all ICF + concrete: Helical Piers, then Concrete Beams, then Concrete Slab, then Concrete Wall then Concrete Roof.
Scope: Full set of Construction Ready Plans:
1. Architectural plan
1. Foundation plan (Helical Piers, Beams, Slab – specifically Quad Lock ICF)
2. Floor plan

4. Sections
5. Plot plans
1. Structural plan with calculations
1. Detailed foundation plan (piers, beams, slab, etc.) with load bearing.
2. Roof plan (Quad Lock ICF)
3. Walls (Quad Lock ICF)
4. Inside walls - Framing plan
5. Ceiling Framing plan
6. Connection details
1. MEP plan
1. Mechanical plan
2. Electrical plan
3. Plumbing
4. Lighting plan
5. HVAC
1. Civil Plan
1. Site plan
2. Drainage plan
3. Water System (heating + water pressure + water filtration) plan
