Kitchen & Master Bedroom Additions
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I’m ready to expand my home and need an architectural partner who can translate my ideas into build-ready plans. The project covers two areas:
1. Kitchen
• Increase overall footprint by knocking down select interior walls, building a small rear extension, and re-configuring the current layout for better flow.
• Keep the focus on usable space—no appliance upgrades or cabinetry specs yet, just the expanded shell and layout that will accommodate them later.
2. Master Bedroom
• Add a comfortable master suite that blends with the existing exterior lines and meets local code for setbacks, load, and egress.
• Provide a clear connection to the rest of the house and allow for future ensuite plumbing.
Within my mid-range budget I’m looking
- A refined set of floor plans and elevations for the chosen
- Provide details necessary for DOB submission
• A concise materials/structural outline suitable for initial contractor discussions and permit pre-checks.
Expect CAD-ready files (DWG or RVT) plus PDFs. Familiarity with NYS residential code and simple load calculations will be a plus. If you can deliver practical, builder-friendly drawings while keeping an eye on costs, let’s discuss timelines and any site info you need from me.
