Kansas Duplex I Beam Stamp
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am preparing permit documents for a residential new-construction duplex here in Kansas and need a licensed architect (or architect–engineer) who can legally stamp drawings in this state. The only item still outstanding is an I-beam that supports a central bearing line; local officials require a sealed beam design and accompanying calculations before they will issue the building permit.
You will receive my floor plans, preliminary section, and load assumptions. Please confirm all load paths, size the beam, specify connection details, and ensure everything satisfies current Kansas and IRC requirements. Once verified, add your professional stamp and signature so the sheet is ready for direct submission.
Deliverables
• PDF of sealed structural calculations for the I-beam
• Stamped drawing sheet(s) showing beam size, connections, notes, and any call-outs required by the reviewer
If you are currently licensed in Kansas and have experience with residential duplex projects, I would like to move forward as soon as you are available.
