Full Home Construction Drawings
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing to break ground on a traditionally styled single-family home. The lot is already secured and measures under 5,000 sq ft, so every square foot of the plan has to work hard. What I need now is a complete, permit-ready drawing set that my local authorities, builder, and trades can follow without guesswork.
Please deliver the following in CAD (DWG) and PDF:
• Cover sheet with general notes and governing codes
• Site plan scaled to the small-lot footprint, showing setbacks, utilities, and zoning data
• Foundation plan (slab or crawl, to be confirmed together)
• Dimensioned floor plans
• Roof plan with slopes, materials, and drainage callouts
• Exterior elevations—four sides, fully annotated for finishes and heights
• Building and wall sections illustrating structural ties and insulation
• Framing plans for floor and roof systems
• Electrical layout with lighting, switching, circuits, and panel schedule
• Plumbing plan including isometrics and fixture locations
• Mechanical/HVAC plan sized for the home’s envelope
• Door and window schedules keyed to the plans
• Interior elevations for kitchen, baths, fireplace, and any built-ins
• Detail sheets covering stairs, handrails, footings, flashing, and key connections
• Material and finish notes/specifications consistent with a traditional aesthetic
Expectations
– Drawings must meet the latest IRC and relevant local amendments.
– Sheets should be organized logically and consistently scaled.
– I review in Bluebeam, so layer clarity and sheet naming matter.
– Two rounds of revisions are included to align with municipal comments or minor design tweaks.
If you draft in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM software, let me know; a coordinated model would be a plus. Once the final set passes my architect’s stamp review, I’ll release payment in full.
Looking forward to collaborating and seeing this home take shape on paper first.
