Florida Architect for Home Addition
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m expanding my single-family home in Florida and need a state-licensed architect who specialises in residential renovation work. The project is an addition/extension, so I’m looking for someone who can turn my rough ideas into fully code-compliant, permit-ready construction documents.
Here’s what I expect us to work through together:
• Concept design that integrates seamlessly with the existing structure and meets local zoning setbacks.
• Design development with floor plans, elevations, and 3-D views so I can visualise the space.
• Construction documents—signed, sealed, and ready for building-department submission—including coordination with structural and MEP consultants if needed.
• Responsive collaboration via email or Zoom to keep the timeline on track; I’d like to start construction in the next few weeks.
A solid grasp of the Florida Building Code, wind-load requirements, and any coastal or flood-zone considerations is essential. I’ll provide the survey, photos, and any existing plans I have; you bring the creativity, technical know-how, and Florida registration seal.
