Expansion and Redesign of Cosmetics Production Facility -- 2
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
My team manages a 3,500 m² facility that currently dedicates only 500 m² to cosmetics production. I need a professional layout redesign that expands production to 2,400 m² while converting the balance into an efficient warehouse.
Scope of work
• Audit the existing drawings and on-site workflow to identify constraints and opportunities.
• Develop a new master plan that separates the enlarged production zone from the streamlined warehouse, with clear people- and material-flow paths.
• Pay extra attention to the Mixing & Production Area and the Packaging & Labeling Section; both demand ergonomic workstations, adequate utilities, and future scalability.
• Integrate temperature- and humidity-controlled environments throughout the production footprint.
• Ensure every design choice aligns with SFDA cosmetics GMP requirements, plus general industrial safety best practices.
• Deliver professional drawings—concept layouts, detailed floor plans, zoning maps, and equipment footprints—in CAD/PDF, ready for permitting and contractor bidding.
Acceptance criteria
1. Complete set of drawings covering architectural, basic MEP, and environmental controls.
2. Written SFDA compliance notes tied to the plan.
3. Clear depiction of material, personnel, and waste flows.
4. One round of revisions after feedback.
If you have a track record in industrial or cosmetics facility design and can hit these benchmarks, I’m ready to move quickly.
