Project Overview
I am looking for an experienced residential architect to design a custom luxury family home from the ground up. This project is subject to Qatar building laws.
This is not a standard floor plan project. I have developed a comprehensive vision for how my family wants to live, and I am looking for an architect who can transform that vision into an exceptional architectural design.
The house should prioritize functionality, privacy, family life, wellbeing, and timeless architecture over unnecessary luxury.

* Irregular plot (site plan will be provided)
* Multi-level residence including:
* Basement
* Ground Floor
* First Floor
* Penthouse
* Independent Driver’s Room
* Separate Nannies’ Apartment

The house should be designed around family routines rather than simply arranging rooms.
Key principles include:
* Family-first living
* Flexible spaces that evolve as children grow
* Bedrooms designed for rest (no TVs)
* Hidden technology wherever possible

* Privacy between family, guests, and service circulation
* Elegant but practical architecture

A detailed design brief has already been prepared describing:
* Family philosophy
* Basement family club
* Ground floor concept
* First-floor family sanctuary
* Master suite
* Personal wellness suite
* Children’s suites
* Penthouse office and library
* Laundry atelier with skylight drying area
* Nannies’ apartment
* Driver’s independent suite
* Service circulation
* Smart-home philosophy
The selected architect will receive the complete design brief.
Scope of Work
The architect will be expected to:
* Review the complete design brief.
* Study the plot and recommend the optimal building placement.
* Develop architectural concepts.
* Prepare floor plans for all levels.
* Optimize circulation and functionality.
* Design elevations.
* Recommend room dimensions.
* Suggest improvements while respecting the overall vision.
* Produce presentation-quality plans.
* Prepare architectural drawings suitable for design development.

* Conceptual 3D massing
* Optional interior layout suggestions
* Space planning recommendations
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience designing high-end custom homes.
* Strong portfolio of luxury residential projects.

* Excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to collaborate through multiple design revisions.
