AS1684-Compliant Outhouse Plans
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m building a small timber-framed outhouse and need a full set of AS1684-compliant plans.
The layout is: one room sized for a "Joolca GottaGo" composting toilet, one separate shower room, and an adjoining covered bay for stacking firewood. A single-pitch (skillion) sheet-metal roof. Building will stand on stumps.
The frame must be predominantly 90 × 45 MGP10.
What I need from you:
• Dimensioned engineering drawings detailing floor system, wall frames, roof framing, bracing, tie-downs and stump layout, all referenced to the relevant clauses of AS1684.
• A bill of materials that doubles as a cut list.
• Connection and fixings schedule (nails, screws, anchors, brackets) called out on the plans so there’s no guessing on site.
The project is broken into 2 stages:
Stage 1: 3d architectural / concept model
Stage 1 milestone 1: intial concept model submitted for review & approval
Stage 1 milestone 2: final concept model submitted for final review & approval
Stage 2: Engineering drawings with bill of materials & cut list
Stage 2 milestone 1: Preliminary drawings submitted for review & approval
Stage 2 milestone 2: Final drawings submitted for review & approval
