Complete Barndominium Construction Plans
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a basic hand-sketch and a full walk-through video of a two-story red-iron Barndominium. I now need those ideas translated into a permit-ready drawing set that I can hand to several general contractors for pricing.
Scope
• Architectural: slab-on-grade foundation sized for red iron framing; floor plans for both levels with room dimensions, door and window schedules, elevations, cross-sections, and roof details.
• Structural: steel column and beam layout, connection details, and concrete reinforcing notes compatible with typical red iron packages.
• MEP: HVAC load calculations and duct routing, complete plumbing riser and drain layouts, electrical plans with panel schedule, circuiting, and lighting/low-voltage points.
The style remains unmistakably Barndominium—clean lines, open span living/kitchen core, and practical utility spaces—while still leaving room for the designer’s touch. Final deliverables should arrive as:
1. One printable PDF set, neatly sheeted and indexed
2. Source CAD (DWG or compatible) so my GC can adjust minor site specifics
3. A short revision window for code-driven tweaks once my local inspector reviews the plans
I will supply the sketch, the YouTube link, and any site data the moment the project begins. Let me know what regional code information you need up front so we avoid rework.
