California Structural Engineering Stamp

Job ID: 40574247

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD

My architectural drawings for a new single-family residence with an attached ADU are complete and ready for structural work. I now need a California-licensed SE or PE to turn those plans into a permit-ready package that satisfies the latest California Building Code and all seismic safety requirements.

The scope centers on two items: full structural design and a thorough code-compliance review. I will supply the PDFs and CAD files of the approved architectural set. From there, your task is to analyse the layout, design all structural elements (foundation, framing, lateral system, connections, etc.), and confirm every detail aligns with CBC 2022 and the applicable seismic provisions for my site.

Deliverables
• Complete structural calculations in PDF
• Framing, foundation, shear wall, and connection plans in DWG and PDF
• Code-compliance summary highlighting CBC and seismic checks
• California SE or PE stamp on every sheet, ready for city submittal

Acceptance criteria
• Calculations and drawings must reference current CBC sections.
• Lateral design must demonstrate drift and strength checks for seismic forces.
• The stamped set must be accepted by my local building department without corrections directly related to structural or code issues.

I am prepared to answer site-specific questions quickly, and I can upload soil reports or any additional data you need as soon as we agree on the engagement.
