California PE Residential Structural Plans
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m preparing permit documents for a brand-new single–family home in for a client in California and need a structural engineer who already holds an active California Professional Engineer license. Your main task is to develop a complete, code-compliant foundation design and full structural plan set, then stamp and sign them so they are ready for submission to the local building department.
Here’s what I will rely on you for:
• Engineer-of-record calculations and drawings covering footings, slabs, shear walls, framing members, connections, and all other load-resisting elements.
• Coordination with my architectural set (in PDF + DWG) to ensure alignment on dimensions, loads, and detailing.
• Any clarifications the city plan checker may request until approval is granted.
All work must satisfy the current California Building Code and any pertinent local amendments. I’ll supply soils information, architectural plans, and survey files the moment we start; please let me know if you need anything else. Deliverables are the signed structural sheets (PDF) plus the calculation package (PDF) within the agreed timeline.
