California Home Structural Drawings Needed
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
My single-family build in California is already well into the construction phase, but we still need a licensed structural engineer to step in, review what’s on site, and produce a full set of code-compliant structural drawings that the city will accept. Because we are mid-construction, accuracy and quick turnaround are essential—I have trades waiting on final, stamped details before they can proceed.
You’ll be working from the architect’s current PDFs and site photos, then coordinating directly with the GC and me to verify field conditions. I’m counting on you to identify every load-bearing element, specify materials and connections, and flag anything that might need reinforcement so we can keep the schedule intact. California Building Code, CBC seismic provisions, Title 24, and local city amendments must all be reflected in your calculations.
Deliverables
• Complete structural drawings (foundation, framing, roof, shear, hold-downs, schedules) in DWG + PDF
• Signed and stamped calculation package ready for permit resubmittal
• One round of revisions after plan checker comments
