Barndominium Design Review
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I need a licensed engineer or architect to review my barndominium-style house design. The design is already created in AutoCAD and needs to support the weight of solar panels on the roof.
Key Requirements:
- Slab on grade plans suitable for sandy bedrock soil
- Must comply with Ontario building code or better
- Designs must be stamped and ready for permits
The design must withstand extreme weather, including strong winds and heavy snow loads, as well as incorporate solar panels.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Licensing in Ontario
- Experience with slab foundations in harsh climates
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge of solar panel structural requirements
