Experienced Millwork CAD Drafter Needed
We are a Millwork Drafting Services company working with clients across the United States. We are looking to build long-term relationships with experienced freelance CAD drafters specialized in architectural millwork and casework.
This is not entry-level work. Proven experience is required.
Scope of Work
Production of shop drawings for custom millwork and casework
Work based on architectural drawings, specifications, and redlines
Coordination-ready drawings for GCs, architects, and fabricators
Revisions based on client feedback and field conditions
Required Skills & Experience (Mandatory)
Minimum 3+ years of professional millwork drafting experience
Strong knowledge and application of AWI standards
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
Solid experience using:
Dynamic / Interactive blocks
Annotative objects
Layer standards and clean file organization
Ability to work with US-based clients and understand US construction documentation
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Deliverables
Fully dimensioned shop drawings
Sections, elevations, details, and notes
Clean, organized CAD files ready for fabrication review
