2315 - Architectural Construction Drawings

Job ID: 40394015

Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD

We require a seasoned architectural draftsperson to produce a fully coordinated construction-ready drawing set in AutoCAD for a residential alterations and additions project.

Refer to the attached schedule of drawings that need to be completed. Once the job is assigned, further details, architectural drawings and structural drawings will be provided to assist.

Also attached:
• an example of the level of drawing and detailing that is required, project 1838
• our current set of base drawings

Scope
• Develop every drawing on A3 sheet sets in AutoCAD, keeping layers, xrefs, viewports and page setups clean and easy to audit.
• Include all necessary architectural construction details for a residential build—wall sections, footing details, roof junctions, window/door schedules, reflected ceiling plans and any item noted in the schedule.
• Allow redline mark-ups within the review rounds; we will batch comments after each submission so revisions remain organised.

Staged submissions & milestone payments
Milestone 1 - Task 1 - window/shutter schedules and wet area layouts
Milestone 2 - Task 2 - RCPs
Milestone 3 - Task 3 - stair details
Milestone 4 - Task 4 - details
Milestone 5 - Task 5 - update sections/elevation/details following mark up
Milestone 6 - 90% of all required drawings ready for final mark up
Milestone 7 - final coordinated PDF and DWG set approved

Deliverables
1. PDF book of every sheet for each review stage.
2. Native .dwg files with sheet sets correctly indexed.
3. A final issue block listing revision history.

Acceptance criteria
• All dimensions, levels and notes match the reference architectural/structural drawings.
• Details comply with standard residential construction practice and local code conventions.
• Title block data, north points, scales and drawing numbers are consistent across the set.
• No unresolved layers, missing xrefs or font substitutions.

Only professionals with demonstrable residential drafting experience and construction detail knowledge should respond; design-only backgrounds or generic CAD operators will not meet the knowledge of detailing required.
