Permit-Ready Detached ADU Plan/

I’m adding a small, stand-alone guest-house ADU—under 500 sq ft—to my property and need a full set of plans that will clear local planning and building review on the first pass. The unit is strictly for visiting family and friends, so layout efficiency and a welcoming feel matter just as much as code compliance.

Please confirm you’ve completed permit-approved detached ADUs before, let me know which software you’ll draft in (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, etc.), and outline your usual turnaround for first deliverables and minor revisions. If you can also advise on finishes or cost-saving structural tweaks, that’s a plus.
