Telecom GIS Analysis & Mapping
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m working on a telecommunications rollout and need a seasoned ArcGIS specialist who has already tackled telco (or comparable pipeline) datasets. The raw data—fiber routes, duct banks, splice points, service areas, customer layers, and field survey updates—are ready on my side in file geodatabase and shapefile formats.
Your mission is twofold:
1. Perform solid spatial data analysis to confirm route integrity, detect overlaps or gaps, flag right-of-way issues, and derive key metrics such as total trench length and premises passed.
2. Transform the results into compelling map products—both static PDFs for executive decks and an interactive web map (ArcGIS Online or Enterprise) for my engineering team.
To do that you will need to:
• Clean and normalize the datasets I provide, maintaining topology rules we agree on.
• Run the necessary geoprocessing tools (spatial joins, buffer/clip, network tracing).
• Configure layer symbology and labeling so non-GIS colleagues can quickly interpret routes, capacity, and status.
• Publish the final map service and hand over the KMZ files, and documented workflow so I can reproduce the work later.
Acceptance criteria
• All supplied layers load without errors or broken paths.
• Spatial analysis results match field-verified lengths within ±2 %.
• Interactive map renders in under 4 seconds on a standard broadband connection.
• Handoff package includes metadata and a short step-by-step PDF guide.
ArcGIS Pro 3.x is preferred, though ArcMap 10.8 compatibility is helpful for legacy reasons. I
