Offline Esri-Style Tinted Hillshade

Job ID: 40350902

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

I want to replicate Esri’s “Tinted Elevation” basemap so I can use it entirely offline. You will need to source the elevation data yourself; I require a high-resolution input (1 arc-second or finer). The finished product will be delivered as 1 × 1-degree GeoTIFFs in three variations:

• Base set – pure tinted hillshade covering a 100 NM radius around Chiang Mai (center roughly 18.79 N, 98.98 E).
• Contour set – the same tiles with clearly legible contours overlaid.
• Spot-height set – identical again but with spot elevations added on top of the contours.

Tiles must align seamlessly and match Esri’s colour ramp and illumination so they can be swapped in without visual jumps. Please include correct geo-referencing, consistent file naming, and a brief note of the DEM source and processing workflow you used (e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS Pro, GDAL).

I will consider the job complete when I can load all three tile sets into my GIS, pan across the area with no artefacts, and verify the stated vertical figures at several known peaks.
