Millimeter Accurate CAD Georeferencing

Job ID: 40211987

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

Please bid for one drawing, I will hand over a set of original CAD drawings that must be brought into GIS with millimeter-level precision. The target is a local coordinate system already in use on site; full parameters will be supplied alongside a few surveyed control points to lock the drawing down.

Your task is to carry out the georeferencing and return a clean, topologically sound shapefile. If you prefer to add an extra export (e.g., GeoPackage or geodatabase) to preserve the same accuracy, that is welcome as well—just let me know.

Because the project hinges on extremely tight tolerances, I’ll want a brief note on the workflow you plan to follow (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, AutoCAD Map 3D, or other) and any quality-control checks you’ll apply to verify millimeter accuracy. A quick screenshot or small test sample demonstrating alignment against the supplied control points will be the first milestone; the final delivery follows once we confirm the fit is on target.

Deliverables
• Georeferenced shapefile(s) in the specified local CRS

I’m ready to move as soon as you are. Please tell me how soon you can start and how you guarantee the required precision.
