GIS Mapping & Spatial Analysis

I have a short-term assignment that calls for a seasoned GIS professional comfortable in ArcGIS or QGIS. The work starts with digitising our raw spatial layers, moves into producing three distinct map types— thematic, topographic and choropleth— and ends with a concise analytical report.

Scope
• Study area spans both urban and rural zones; boundaries and base data will be shared on kickoff.
• Spatial analytics must include hotspot, network and cluster examinations to reveal key patterns and relationships.
• Finished products should be delivered as high-resolution PDFs/PNGs plus editable project files, accompanied by a brief methodology note and the insights report (Word or PDF).

Acceptance
The job is complete when the maps render correctly at multiple scales, all analyses are reproducible from the supplied project files, and the report clearly explains findings and methods in plain language.
