GIS Category Distribution Maps

Job ID: 39970653

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I will send you an Excel sheet containing latitude-longitude coordinates for 141 sites on an island, each already tagged as Certain, Green, Amber, or Red. From that data, I need a clean GIS project built on a topographic base map that plots every point and visually differentiates the four categories.

Once the layers are set up, please export high-resolution JPEGs that I can drop straight into reports:

• One master map with all 141 points displayed together
• Four separate maps, each isolating a single category (Certain, Green, Amber, Red)

Site names and their associated category labels (these can just be the relevant coloured points: Certain can be White) must remain visible on every image without overcrowding the view; feel free to adjust symbol size or label placement for clarity at typical print resolution (300 dpi or better).

In addition, each of those 141 points is also tagged with two other categories: Placename or Both. I want a map showing any of the 141 points tagged with Both and another with those only tagged with Placename.

Finally I want one map with all the 141 points on that also shows the different parishes on the island (I can supply an example), this does not need to be topographic.

I’m fine with whichever GIS platform you prefer—ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, or similar—as long as the final JPEGs are crisp and geographically accurate. If you can also return the working project file or a shapefile/GeoPackage, that will let me tweak things later, but the key deliverables are the five ready-to-use images described above.
