Digitize 1888 Map in ArcGIS
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’ve begun converting an 1888 TIFF map into ArcGIS and need help finishing the job. The base file is already georeferenced, and I’ve sketched a preliminary line layer with some boundary hints. Your task is to:
• Trace and classify every visible feature into three separate layers—Roads, Buildings, Green Fields—using WGS84.
• Add a “name” attribute for each road you capture (leave blank if the map shows no label).
• Treat anything not clearly a road or building as Green Fields so that the three layers form a clean, complete coverage.
Please return the finished geodatabase or shapefiles plus any style files you use so I can load them straight into ArcGIS Pro without extra setup.
Accuracy matters more than speed: keep linework tidy, snap intersections where appropriate, and avoid sliver polygons. I’ll review the layers for completeness and correct attribution before releasing payment.
