I am seeking an experienced GIS specialist, cartographer, or land survey mapping professional to create an overlay map for historical land research.

Project Details:

Base survey: Tobias Dubronner Survey, Freestone County, Texas.

I have historical survey maps, tract descriptions, and deed records (late 1800s–early 1900s).

Goal: create a modern overlay aligning the historical survey boundaries with current parcel maps (county GIS).

Deliverables:

Digital overlay (ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Earth compatible).

Clear tract labeling (acreage + family names when available).

Final files in PDF/PNG for presentation + GIS file format for analysis.

Requirements:

Experience with Texas land surveys, abstracts, and GIS mapping preferred.
