Cadastral Map Georeferencing Specialist
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I have a collection of scanned paper cadastral maps that must be accurately georeferenced to the WGS 84 coordinate system. Your CAD and ArcGIS skills are crucial here, as the final output has to align perfectly with my existing GIS database and be ready for further editing in AutoCAD.
Scope
• Load each scan into ArcGIS, establish reliable ground-control points, and warp the images so every parcel sits exactly where it belongs in WGS 84.
• Export clean, world-file-paired rasters plus an MXD (or APRX) containing the registered layers.
• Create a companion DWG/DXF in which parcel boundaries follow the same coordinate system, allowing me to switch between ArcGIS and AutoCAD without loss of accuracy.
Acceptance criteria
1. Mean residual error per map below one pixel or its ground equivalent.
2. Visual overlay on existing WGS 84 base layers shows no slippage along roads, waterlines, or parcel corners.
3. Each deliverable opens error-free in both ArcGIS Pro 3.x and AutoCAD 2021.
