ArcGIS Mapping & Visualization Specialist
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a set of raw geospatial layers coming from various sensors in the field, and I need those data transformed into clear, insightful maps. Your main focus will be mapping and visualization, so deep experience with Esri ArcGIS — and an up-to-date ArcGIS certification to prove it — is essential.
Scope of work
The project starts with cleaning and organising sensor-derived geospatial data, building a solid geodatabase where needed, and then designing map products that communicate patterns at a glance. Think thematic maps, interactive web layers and printable layouts that decision-makers can digest quickly. Because most of the insight must be drawn visually, cartographic finesse and a good handle on symbology, annotation and scale-dependent rendering are all important.
I will supply:
• the raw sensor files (shapefiles, CSVs with coordinates, and a small GeoTIFF set)
• an outline of the key questions we’re trying to answer on the map
You will deliver:
It is required a mandatory Esri ArcGis certification
• a well-structured ArcGIS project (MXD/APRX) with tidy layer naming and metadata filled in
• an enterprise or file geodatabase containing the cleaned data
• at least two polished map layouts in PDF and PNG, plus a lightweight web map (ArcGIS Online or Portal) ready to share
Acceptance criteria
• All layers render without missing references and follow the symbology guide we’ll agree on up front
• Attribute tables are free of nulls in critical fields and include field aliases and units
• PDFs export at 300 dpi with fonts embedded; the web map loads in under five seconds on a standard connection
