Translate Product Descriptions to Arabic
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m looking for a native-level Arabic translator to localise my online product descriptions. The source text is in English and appears directly on our e-commerce site, so the Arabic version has to read naturally on the web, maintain consistent formatting, and fit within existing character limits.
What you’ll work on
• A batch of product descriptions currently live on the site (I’ll share the URLs and original copy in a Word or Excel file—whichever you prefer).
• An approved glossary of industry-specific terms that must be used exactly as provided.
Scope and expectations
• Translate every description accurately, preserving the persuasive tone that encourages purchase.
• Keep HTML tags, bullet lists, and line breaks intact so the copy can be pasted back into the CMS without extra cleanup.
• Adapt measurements, dates, and cultural references for Arabic-speaking customers where appropriate.
• Perform a quick self-review for spelling, grammar, and consistency before delivering the final file.
Deliverable
A single document (Word, Excel, or Google Sheet) containing:
1. Original English text (left column)
2. Final Arabic translation (right column)
If you have experience translating e-commerce or marketing copy and can start soon, let me know your turnaround time and any relevant samples.
