I am seeking an Arabic translator for a Arabic site. The site provides the latest in tips, trends and training opportunities for a global, Arabic-speaking audience.

The Arabic translator will work closely with the an Arabic editor to populate the Arabic site with practical articles and resources for journalists, and with home office staff to ensure the smooth operation.

This is a part-time contract position. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Responsibilities:
Research, write and publish training opportunities in Arabic.
Translate opportunities from English to Arabic and from Arabic to English
Translate articles and resources from English to Arabic and occasionally from Arabic to English
Conduct additional translations upon request
Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Experience conducting English → Arabic translations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Fluency in Arabic and English
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
Background in journalismm preferred
