Fantasy Book Translation & Reports

Job ID: 40018485

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have a series of English-language fantasy novels that I need rendered into polished, reader-friendly Arabic while preserving every bit of the original imagination, tone, and voice. Because these stories come with plenty of invented lore, spell names, and other specialised terminology, I need someone who can research, coin, and standardise Arabic equivalents that feel natural to the genre and remain consistent from chapter to chapter.

Alongside the translation itself, I also require concise progress reports written in English. Each report should highlight completed chapters, note any tricky terminology you encountered (with the Arabic choices you settled on), and flag open questions for me in clear bullet points. A short end-of-project wrap-up summarising stylistic choices and a master glossary will round things off.

Deliverables
• Complete Arabic manuscript in the same layout/structure as the source file (Word or Google Docs is fine)
• Running English-language progress reports at agreed checkpoints (e.g., weekly or every 10k words)
• Final English report containing a terminology glossary and any outstanding notes

I work with standard CAT tools such as Trados and memoQ, so if you can provide translation memories or glossaries in those formats, even better—though this is optional. Feel free to let me know your proposed schedule and how you like to handle revisions.
