English-Arabic Video & Document Translation
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a set of English-language videos and a handful of general-purpose documents that must be delivered in clear, elegant Arabic. For the videos I need both a clean textual transcript (SRT or similar) and the same translation burned directly into the footage so viewers can watch with native subtitles.
The documents are straightforward—no heavy technical or literary jargon—yet I still expect the same attention to nuance and tone you would give a novel. In other words, the Arabic version should read as though it was written originally in our language, not merely converted word-for-word.
Here is how I picture the workflow:
• Translate each video, supply an SRT file, and deliver a second copy of the video with Arabic subtitles embedded (or voiced-over if you prefer and have the means).
• Translate the accompanying general documents and return them in the original file format, perfectly formatted and proofread.
Consistency in terminology across the videos and documents is essential, so a quick term sheet or glossary at the start would be appreciated. Feel free to use any of the common subtitling or NLE tools—Subtitle Workshop, Aegisub, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve—whatever lets you produce polished results.
Turnaround is flexible within reason, but let me know your realistic timeline up front along with samples of comparable English-to-Arabic work. Looking forward to seeing how you can make this content shine for an Arabic-speaking audience.
