Automated PDF Translation Tool
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a program that can take PDFs from my computer and use Google Translate to convert them into English. This is for personal use.
I need a program that takes Arabic or Hebrew PDFs (including non-OCR scanned ones) and outputs English-translated PDFs with the original layout preserved.
It should:
1. Use image-based text extraction for each page.
2. Translate the text to English.
3. Rebuild the PDF with the translated text in the same format as the original.
Requirements:
- Input: PDFs (text-only, text with images, or images not requiring OCR)
- Output: Translated PDFs that maintain the original format
- the program should work for files that are 100 MB
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in programming, especially with PDF manipulation and Google Translate API
- Experience with OCR technology
- Ability to create user-friendly interfaces
