Appointment Setter For Housing Referrals
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I run an independent-living program that offers safe, structured, shared housing for seniors and veterans who receive SSI, disability benefits, pensions, or housing vouchers. My beds are ready; what I need now are confirmed appointments with the people who can refer residents. Your primary focus will be homeless shelters, since they see the greatest daily need, though I’m open to you reaching out to nonprofits and hospital caseworkers whenever it helps fill the schedule.
Here is how the work flows:
• You identify the right staff at targeted shelters.
• You introduce our available facilities and on-site services—private and semi-private rooms, meals, transportation support, and 24-hour staff oversight—highlighting that all costs are covered by residents’ existing benefits or vouchers.
• You secure a calendar appointment for me (phone or in-person) with the shelter’s decision-maker so we can formalize a referral partnership.
I pay per qualified appointment that shows on my calendar and is accepted by the contact. All outreach methods—phone, email, LinkedIn, in-person drop-ins—are welcome as long as they are professional and effective.
Acceptance criteria
• Appointment is scheduled for at least 20 minutes with a staff member who approves or coordinates referrals.
• Contact details, organization name, and any specific needs are logged in a shared sheet before the meeting.
If you have experience booking calls for social-impact programs or similar outreach, you’ll ramp up quickly, but an organized communicator with persuasive phone skills will also thrive here. Let’s start filling these beds for the people who need them most.
