Electron Windows App Sprint
Budget: ₹1,300 – ₹3,000 INR
For the next seven days I’m running an intensive, full-time push on a Windows desktop application built with Electron and React. The codebase is unstable and we’re currently blocked by PowerShell execution bugs and a stubborn Electron build chain that prevents clean releases. I need someone who can step in immediately, work 8-10 hours a day, and bill hourly for the week.
Your background in Windows desktop applications should let you feel right at home in the environment. I’m especially interested in devs who already have extensive Electron experience and can move quickly without a lengthy ramp-up.
Skills Needed -
1. Indepth understanding of ElectronJS
2. Understanding how to protect application from leaking our IP
3. Proficient in MERN stack
Scope for the sprint
• Resolve PowerShell execution policy and path issues so scripts run reliably on fresh Windows installs.
• Debug and stabilize Electron builds (Windows target); nightly builds must install and launch without errors.
• Package, smoke-test, and push a tested release to the repo at the end of each workday.
- MANY POSSIBLE adhoc additions, hence asking to bill hourly.
Workflow & tools
GitHub for version control, a short daily stand-up, and manual issue tracking (Jira yet to be setup). Successful fixes are merged via pull request only after passing the judgement of our tech lead and your own manual validation.
If you’re available to start within the next few hours (URGENT) and can commit solid blocks of focused time each day, message me and I’ll share the detailed task list, hourly rate, and milestone calendar so we can kick this sprint off today.
