Side-by-Side Compressor Installation Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m replacing the compressor in my side-by-side refrigerator and already have the new unit here—an Embraco VEGY 8H. What I need is a qualified technician who can:
• Safely recover the existing refrigerant, remove the faulty compressor, and install the new Embraco unit.
• Braze and reconnect the lines, replace the drier filter if necessary, evacuate, recharge with the correct refrigerant and oil, and test for leaks.
• Verify pressures, temperatures, and overall performance to be sure the fridge reaches and holds setpoints before sign-off.
You’ll bring your own tools, gauges, vacuum pump, and refrigerant. Please confirm your experience with Embraco or similar scroll/rotary swaps on domestic side-by-side refrigerators and give me an estimated timeframe for the onsite visit and completion.
