Re-connect Xcode Source Control to Azure DevOps
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
For over one year Xcode successfully connected to our Azure DevOps repo permitting Source Control Commits. Recently commits have been failing even though nothing has changed with the DevOps repo. The error shown is ,“Authentication failed because the credentials were rejected”. I noticed the User Name shown (“mycompany”) is part of the DevOps URL eg. “mycompany_at_dev.azure.com” . However, I don’t login to DevOps with “mycompany” as the user names.
I have attempted to navigate to the project’s .git folder and run “git config user.name “actual-devops-username” but if doesn’t change the user name Xcode attempts to login with.
I need assistance from someone who has recently experienced this issue and found a resolution.
