Job Description:

We’re building Khayt (خيط) – a mobile-first platform that transforms the traditional thobe tailoring experience in Kuwait. The platform connects customers, tailors, and a fabric supplier through a seamless digital process.

We’re hiring a full-stack development team experienced in:
• Flutter (iOS/Android)
• Node.js with PostgreSQL
• Cloud deployment
• And most importantly: including an in-house UI/UX designer as part of your team

The job is structured as a fixed-price MVP build, followed by hourly engagement for enhancements.

Scope of Work:

1. Customer App (Flutter):
• OTP login and onboarding
• Fabric catalog browsing with filters
• Measurement entry with guides
• Style customization (collar, cuffs, buttons, embroidery)
• Cart and checkout (card or COD)
• Tailor selection (auto/manual)
• Order tracking with status updates
• Ratings and alteration requests

2. Tailor App (Flutter):
• Tailor dashboard: orders, earnings, feedback, strikes
• Profile onboarding with license and deposit
• Order intake with fabric approval (photo upload)
• Manual status updates
• Alteration management

3. Admin & Supplier Web Dashboard:
• Fabric catalog control
• Order view and override
• Supplier fulfillment tracking
• Payment log and status updates

4. Backend (Node.js + PostgreSQL):
• Secure REST APIs with token auth
• Structured database for customers, tailors, orders, fabrics
• OTP system via SMS gateway
• Payment integration (Tap/MyFatoorah)
• Admin role and override logic
• Notification triggers (push/SMS)

Admin Dashboard (Web or Mobile)
• View all orders with statuses and logs
• Change order status manually if needed (override stuck states)
• Add/update fabric catalog
• View tailor and supplier profiles and order history
• Assign or reassign tailors if needed
• Log complaints or issue refunds manually
• Export logs or reports (CSV is enough for MVP)
• Simple strike tracking (manually logged)

5. Design Requirements (Your Team’s Designer):
• High-fidelity UI mockups for all app screens
• Dual-language (Arabic/English) layout support (RTL & LTR)
• Tailor-focused UX simplicity
• Web dashboard for admin and supplier – responsive and clean
• Provide final design assets for development handoff

What We’re Looking For:
• A full-stack development team that includes its own UI/UX designer
• Deep experience in Flutter and Node.js (REST API, PostgreSQL)
• Clean, modular code and clear architecture
• Arabic/RTL layout experience is a strong bonus
• Available for ongoing hourly work post-launch (bugs, updates, scaling)
