I’m rolling out a restaurant-only delivery service and need an experienced developer to build the first release of the platform. The essential piece is a rock-solid payment workflow focused exclusively on Cash on Delivery (COD); no cards or digital wallets are required at this stage.

What I need built
• Customer-facing ordering interface that lists partner restaurants, menus, and prices.
• A checkout flow where COD is the single payment option and orders hit the kitchen in real time.
• Simple admin view for the restaurant and driver to update an order’s status—accepted, prepared, out for delivery, paid.
• Basic reporting so we can reconcile daily COD totals and outstanding balances.

Scope notes
This milestone is about getting COD live inside a functional restaurant-delivery MVP. Extras like live order tracking or ratings can wait for a later phase; please keep the build lean and focused on reliability.

Deliverables
1. Source code with build/run instructions.
2. Database schema or cloud config needed to deploy.
3. Short hand-over document and screen-recorded demo showing an order placed and closed using COD.
