Custom App for Evaluating Project Profitability in Consulting and IT Development
We are looking for a developer or team to create a simple, user-friendly app that helps our consulting firm estimate and track project profitability. We currently use Excel, but we want a more streamlined, automated solution.
Key Features:
Project Work Days Estimation: Estimate the workdays needed for a project based on three elements: AS-IS assessment, target model design, and IT development. Difficulty ratings from 1-5 will help calculate workdays.
Consultant Selection: Choose the number and type of consultants (e.g., strategy, IT) based on availability and project needs, while considering their fixed and variable costs.
Profitability Simulation: Input a project sales price and calculate consultant costs, total costs, and profitability (e.g., contribution margin). Display clear summaries of revenues, costs, and profit.
Real-Time Data Integration: Sync with our internal database for real-time consultant availability, skills, and cost updates.
Basic Monitoring: Track project budget over time and suggest adjustments when needed, helping ensure the project stays on budget.
Simplicity and Automation: The goal is to reduce manual work and provide quick profitability insights.
