Overview
I’m developing a mobile-first app for high school and college band directors. The goal is to streamline recruitment, camp registration, and communication between programs. The app will be built in FlutterFlow using Firebase as the backend. No custom code unless absolutely necessary.
I need a developer or small team to build the app using the requirements outlined below. You’ll be responsible for executing a phased build plan that includes all logic, actions, Firestore integration, and testing.

EPIC 1: User Authentication & Role Assignment
User Story 1.1 – Account Registration
As a new user, I want to sign up using email and password so that I can securely access the app.
• Fields: First Name, Last Name, Email, Password
• On successful sign-up, user is routed to onboarding flow.
User Story 1.2 – Role Selection
As a new user, I want to select my role (Student, College Band Director, High School Band Director, Alumni, Supporter/Fan) so that I see only the features relevant to me.
• This selection occurs on first login.
• Role is stored in the user document in Firestore.
User Story 1.3 – Role-based Dashboard
As a user, I want to land on a dashboard tailored to my role so that I’m not overwhelmed with irrelevant features.

EPIC 2: Student Recruitment System
User Story 2.1 – Student Profile Creation
As a student, I want to create a profile that includes my top 10 college choices, instrument, and graduation year so that college directors can find and contact me.
• Fields include: name, age, school, instrument, graduation year, GPA, media uploads, Top 10 schools (dropdown or searchable list)
• Profile visibility is limited to authenticated users with ‘College Band Director’ role.
User Story 2.2 – College Director Recruitment Directory
As a college band director, I want to view a list of prospective students filtered by graduation year, instrument, and whether they’ve listed my school in their Top 10 so that I can identify strong candidates.
• Filters include: state, instrument, GPA range, Top 10 match, media presence
• Clicking a profile opens full student profile
User Story 2.3 – Coordination with High School Directors
As a high school band director, I want to tag and upload student data or flag students for visibility so I can ensure they’re noticed by college directors.
• Option to upload basic student data for students who don’t have smartphones
• View and comment on their readiness, strengths, or concerns

As a section leader, I want to scan a student’s barcode to log their attendance so that we can track punctuality and participation.

As a section leader, I want to confirm another leader’s attendance log to ensure accuracy and avoid misuse.
• When a scan is submitted, a random section leader is prompted to confirm it

As a director, I want to see a daily list of students who were not scanned so that I can follow up accordingly.
