Client-Facing Bubble Tool with Chat
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for a Bubble.io expert to build a compact internal business tool that my clients can access directly. The core of the project is a smooth real-time chat module that lets our team and each client speak instantly inside the app—no email back-and-forth, no waiting.
Functionality
• Real-time chat must feel as quick and reliable as Slack or WhatsApp, including typing indicators and read status.
• The interface should remain lightweight; beyond chat, I don’t need payment flows or complex user authentication at this stage, so you’re free to focus on speed and UX.
• Clients will each have a dedicated workspace where they can open or continue conversations with us and view past messages.
Scope of work
1. Build and configure the Bubble pages, data structure, and workflows to power real-time messaging.
2. Set up roles so only our team and the specific client see their own chat history.
3. Apply a clean, brand-aligned UI (simple style guide supplied after kickoff).
4. Provide a brief Loom or written walkthrough so I can maintain and extend the app.
Acceptance criteria
• Messages appear for both parties in under one second on average.
• Each client can only see their own conversation thread.
• The app is delivered fully in Bubble with no external plugins that have licensing fees.
