Beginner English Learning App
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I need an Android application that helps Indian learners aged 6 – 20 build a strong foundation in English. The entire course should sit at a beginner level and unfold through short audio lessons followed by playful interactive activities. Each lesson ends with an interactive quiz that captures answers, awards instant feedback, and records the result.
A simple progress-tracking module is essential: learners must see how many lessons they have completed, current quiz scores, and weekly streaks; teachers or parents should be able to glance at the same data on a lightweight dashboard. Think Firebase or an equally quick cloud back-end for syncing, but I’m open to the stack you prefer as long as the data stays secure and the UI remains snappy on entry-level Android phones.
Core deliverables (acceptance criteria):
• Android APK + source (Kotlin or Java) compiled against the latest stable SDK
• Audio-first lesson player with play / pause / seek and buffered streaming for low-bandwidth connections
• Gesture-friendly interactive activities (drag-and-drop, tap to match) that tie directly to the audio content
• Quiz engine supporting multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, and picture-based prompts, with real-time scoring
• Progress dashboard: per-user lesson completion, cumulative score, streak counter, and export to CSV/JSON
• Clean, child-friendly interface compatible with Android 8.0 and above, fully localized for Indian English
• Brief admin guide and build/run instructions
If you have experience mixing audio lessons with game-style activities on Android and can deliver pixel-perfect layouts plus reliable data tracking, this project should be straightforward. I’ll provide lesson scripts, audio files, and activity assets as soon as development kicks off, and we can iterate through milestones for the quiz engine, progress layer, and final polish.
This application will be used for children from rural areas where they are not exposed to English language environment except YouTube or social media.
This application will be distributed free of charge to the students and their parents.
This will be free of cost.
